Training for San Diego Marathon with Team in training
I am addicted to running marathons. Last year my goal was to complete one marathon – but the experience was so overwhelming that I have done it 4 times so far.
This year I am trying to run a personal best and clock a “under 4 hour” timing. It is going to be a hard 6 months of training. But I am doing it for a great cause.
This year I am training to participate in the San Diego Marathon June 2006 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I’m completing this marathon in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line – a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society’s mission.
I hope you’ll visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
